The Open Water Course.
If you would like to commit a larger portion of time and investment into the sport of diving, then the “Open Water” course is the way to go.
- It requires some self study at home or on the beach whilst you’re here, as well as 3 full days of inwater training.
- Should you pass (paying for the course does not guarantee this) by completing all requirements then you will be certified to dive in a buddy team up to 18m.
- The first section of this course is some knowledge development, at home and then also with the instructor at the dive sites.
- The second section consists of some skill training in shallow (pool like conditions) water. This includes self and buddy rescue skills, buoyancy training and separation and out of air drills so that you learn to handle everything once certified.
- The third section is a series of dives with your instructor to a max depth of 12m at first and then 18m.
- Should the instructor suggest you need more time to pass requirements, you have as long as you need whilst on the island so we don’t limit you to just three days. This is no extra cost.
- The total price for the OW course is 545 euros, with a deposit needed of 200 euros. This will mean that we can send you the study materials as soon as you pay the deposit and you can get started right away.
- Equipment, study materials, transport, private instruction, boat and snacks & drinks are included.
Please kindly note that the price listed below is a deposit for the course, this guarantees you the availability of an instructor and the dates you wish to book in. This Deposit is non refundable.
